Terms

Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of Still Insurable. They're written to be read — short sentences, no Latin. If you use the site, you're agreeing to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Effective 2026-05-11. We date this page whenever we change it.

1. Who runs this site, and accepting these terms

Still Insurable is operated by Perfect Life Network LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("we", "us", "our"). By visiting Still Insurable, reading its pages, or using the Get connected form, you accept these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you're using the site on behalf of someone else, you're confirming you have the authority to accept these terms for them.

2. This is information, not advice

Everything on Still Insurable is general information. It is not insurance advice, not legal advice, and not financial advice, and it isn't a substitute for talking to a licensed insurance agent, an attorney, or your state's Department of Insurance or FAIR Plan. We don't know your home, your policy, your finances, or your situation. Big regulated decisions — buying or dropping a policy, choosing the FAIR Plan, handling a non-renewal — should be made with a licensed professional and, where it matters, confirmed with the official authority. Nothing here creates an agent, broker, advisor, or fiduciary relationship between you and Still Insurable.

3. Accuracy and "no warranty" on the content

We compile the data on this site from official sources — FAIR Plans, state Departments of Insurance, the NAIC, the Insurance Information Institute, and reputable reporting — and we date every claim with the day we last checked it. (How we do that is on the methodology page.) But insurance rules, eligibility, rates, and programs change constantly, sometimes between our re-check dates, and sources can be wrong or out of date. So we provide the content "as is", without any warranty that it's complete, current, or error-free. Verify anything that matters with the relevant authority before you act on it. If you spot something wrong, please tell us: [email protected] — corrections jump the queue.

4. The broker-referral service

The Get connected form is an optional way to ask to be contacted by a licensed insurance broker. Using it is not an application for insurance, not a quote, and not a guarantee that you'll be offered coverage or that anyone will contact you. Still Insurable is not an insurer, a broker, or an agent, and we don't give insurance advice. The brokers we connect you with are independent, separately licensed businesses; their advice and conduct are their own, and we're not responsible for them. When you submit the form, the details you provide may be shared with one or more licensed brokers and with partners, and we may add your email to a mailing list — see section 6 and the Privacy Policy, which also explains how to opt out.

5. Affiliate & referral compensation

Still Insurable makes money two ways, both disclosed where they happen:

Either way, it costs you nothing extra and it doesn't change what we say. We put the do-it-yourself path next to every referral offer, and we label affiliate links. The full plain-English version is on the about page.

6. Information you submit, the mailing list, and phone contact

If you use the Get connected form, here's what you're agreeing to — stated plainly, and explained in detail (with opt-outs) in the Privacy Policy:

7. Using the site responsibly

Use Still Insurable for your own personal, non-commercial reference. Please don't:

We can suspend or block access if someone's abusing the site. (Linking to our pages, quoting a sentence or two with attribution, or citing a figure with a link back is fine and welcome.)

8. Who owns what

The facts on this site — what a FAIR Plan covers, what a statute says, what a rate filing shows — are public, and we don't claim to own them; we point you to the original sources so you can check them. What is ours is the way we've compiled, organised, selected, verified, dated, and written it up: the tables, the structure, the explanatory text, the design, the site name and look. Those are protected by copyright and other rights and belong to Still Insurable (or to others we've licensed from). You may cite and link to our pages; you may not copy our compilations or text wholesale or pass them off as your own.

9. Links to other sites

We link out a lot — to FAIR Plans, state Departments of Insurance, the CFPB, United Policyholders, news reporting, and sometimes to products or partners. Those are independent sites we don't control. We link them because they're useful, not because we vouch for everything on them, and we're not responsible for their content, their accuracy, or their privacy practices. When you follow a link off Still Insurable, the other site's terms and privacy policy apply.

10. "As is", and the limits on our liability

Still Insurable is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind — express or implied — including any implied warranty of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't promise the site will always be available, error-free, or secure.

To the fullest extent the law allows: Still Insurable, the people who run it, and our service providers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost data, or losses arising from your use of (or inability to use) the site, from anything you relied on here, from a broker or partner you were connected with, or from any third-party site we linked to. If, despite that, we're found liable for something, our total liability to you is limited to USD 100. Some places don't allow some of these limits; where that's true, they apply to you only as far as the law allows, and nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited.

11. You cover us for your misuse

If your use of the site, your breach of these terms, or your violation of someone else's rights leads to a claim against Still Insurable, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it (including reasonable legal fees), to the extent the law allows. We'll let you know if that ever comes up and we can take part in the defence.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms — for example, when the broker-referral service or the law changes. When we do, we'll change the "Effective" date at the top, and if a change is significant we'll flag it on the site. If you keep using Still Insurable after a change, that means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute that isn't resolved informally will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless a law that applies to you (for example, a consumer-protection law where you live) gives you the right to bring it somewhere else. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
