Why put this on your site

  • You look like the agent who saw it coming. Insurance is the deal-killer nobody talks about until escrow. A current, sourced badge on your page tells every buyer and seller that you understand their market before they ask.
  • It is a record, not just a graphic. A dated, third-party-sourced snapshot is a quiet bit of professional cover: you pointed clients to the real state of insurability, on the record, on a date.
  • It is dated, so it never quietly goes stale. State FAIR Plan rules, dwelling caps, and market conditions move all year. The badge shows the date we last verified it, right on its face, so you are never defending a number you did not know had changed. The default auto-updating snippet refreshes itself when our data moves; the static snapshot stays fixed until you re-copy it.
  • It answers the question your clients are already searching for. "Can I even insure a house here?" is behind half the nervous calls you get. The badge gives a calm, honest first answer right on your site, with a path to the full state page if they want detail.

Build your badge

Pick your state, choose a size, choose how it updates, copy the code, and paste it where you want the badge to sit. The auto-updating option keeps itself current with no work from you.

Shown roughly as it will appear on your site. The badge uses its own fixed colors and a number font that falls back gracefully, so it looks consistent everywhere and does not follow your visitor's dark mode.

The credit, in plain terms

The badge is free. The only ask is that you keep the small "verified [date], via Stillinsurable" credit and its link to us. That link is how it stays accurate, and it is how we are able to offer this at no cost.

Here is the part most "free" tools do not tell you. We run a referral path: if a homeowner you are connected to chooses to use it and places a policy through a licensed broker, we may be paid a referral fee. You are never charged, your clients are never charged extra, and nothing on the badge pushes anyone to buy. We say this here because the whole site is built on saying it plainly. If you would rather use the badge with no connection to any of that, you can: keep the credit and the link, and you are square with us.

If you work these markets often

There is a next step beyond the badge. We connect homeowners who need coverage with licensed brokers, and we are always talking to pros who want to be on the receiving end of that, or who want to go deeper than a single-state widget. No pitch, no commitment; the badge stands on its own. If the partnership side is useful to you, the for-pros page has the detail, and the state directory and full dataset are open for any other use.

The badge reflects Still Insurable's data as of the verified date shown on it; insurance rules and market conditions change, so confirm specifics with the relevant state Department of Insurance, the FAIR Plan, or a licensed agent before relying on them in a transaction. Still Insurable is an independent reference, not an insurer, broker, or agent. Page last reviewed 2026-06-01.
